I have been working as a process facilitator since 2006. For me, this means creating and maintaining spaces that enable the people I work with to do things for which they lack a supportive structure in their everyday lives.

From 2003 to 2014, I worked as a researcher and lecturer in ethnology at a wide range of universities. During extended stays abroad (in Israel, Russia, Poland, and France), I engaged intensively with everyday human culture and practices across diverse social milieus and sectors. I was both challenged and enchanted by the diverse perspectives on the world, encountering both global and local differences and similarities. I observed a wide variety of approaches to work and life, concepts of gender and family, and leadership and working styles.

In parallel with my academic engagement with everyday human and organizational culture, I developed links between theory and practice through practical work with people, in workshops, and in consultancy sessions.

I began a reciprocal learning process between working with and working on organizations and people, which found its way into a wide range of publications, and helped me further develop my training and support methods.

My learning process continues through constant exchange in collegial consultancy groups, regular professional development, and a wide range of experiences in my varied support contexts.
